Ibb - Saba: The branch of the General Authority for Rural Water Projects in Ibb Governorate handed over the Najd Al-Ansar water project in Al-Mashnah District to the Beneficiaries Committee to manage its operation.
The project included rehabilitating a water project and providing it with an integrated solar energy system at a cost of $65,000, funded by the International Medical Corps.
During the handover, the Director of the Authority's branch in the governorate, Majed Al-Shami, explained that implementing rural water projects contributes to providing water services to the local community and alleviating the suffering of citizens in light of the conditions the country is going through.
He stressed the keenness to implement rural water projects in coordination with partners to meet the needs of remote areas, especially in light of the aggression the country is going through.
Al-Shami praised the efforts of the International Medical Corps in financing a number of projects in the governorate and its interest in humanitarian work.. urging the Beneficiaries Committee to protect the project, preserve it, manage it and run it in a way that meets the aspirations of the people of the region.
