The General Mobilization Offices in Wadi Ahmed and al-Matar neighborhoods of Bani al-Harith district in the Capital Sana'a held two cultural activities on Saturday to commemorate Martyr's Day, alongside continued support for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.
In al-Matar, Shura Council member Adel al-Hanbasi and Mobilization Officer Odai al-Shami delivered speeches highlighting the eternal legacy of the martyrs.
They emphasized that the martyrs are alive with God, embodying the principles of sacrifice and justice, and their contributions are a model for the nation in defending its sovereignty and honor.
Both speakers noted the significance of Martyr's Day in strengthening national steadfastness and preserving the spirit of resistance against enemies.
Yahya al-Jabila, father of a martyr, spoke on behalf of martyr families, pledging continued loyalty to the revolution’s leadership, particularly Sayyed Abdulmalik bin Badr al-Din al-Houthi.
He vowed to uphold the martyrs' path of jihad and sacrifice until victory is achieved, stressing that the martyrs' spirit endures in the hearts of their families and the broader community.
In the Wadi Ahmed event, Hamad bin Rakan, the district director, reaffirmed the importance of honoring the martyrs' sacrifices, which remain a source of pride for Yemen.
He called for continued vigilance in defending the homeland and repelling foreign aggression, drawing inspiration from the martyrs' courage and commitment to justice.
Both events, attended by local officials, cultural figures, and community leaders, featured speeches, poetry, and performances expressing gratitude for the martyrs' sacrifices and reinforcing the values of loyalty, sacrifice, and national unity.
