The Civil Status and Civil Registry Branch in Dhamar province on Saturday held a cultural event to mark the anniversary of the martyr, honoring those who sacrificed their lives in defense of Yemen's dignity and sovereignty.
Col. Abdulkarim al-Bukhaiti, Director of the Civil Status Branch, spoke at the event, emphasizing the profound significance of martyrdom in the nation's history.
He highlighted that commemorating this day is a moment to reflect on the sacrifices of the martyrs and reaffirm the duty to support their families, acknowledging their invaluable contribution to the defense of Yemen's pride and honor.
Lt. Col. Ali Najm al-Din, Deputy Director of the Branch, also addressed the gathering, stressing the religious, moral, and humanitarian importance of the martyrs' sacrifices.
He called for continuing to follow their example in the face of external aggression, particularly from the aggression forces led by the U.S. and Israel.
The event served as both a tribute to the martyrs' legacy and a reminder of the ongoing commitment to their cause, urging the people of Yemen to remain steadfast in defending the nation.
