Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Dhaifallah Rassam, Mayor of the Capital Dr. Hamoud Obbad, and First Undersecretary Khaled Al-Madani inspected work on the project to restore and maintain Palestine Street in Bani Al-Harith District.
The project is locally funded at a cost of SAR 127 million and includes the maintenance of 7,500 square meters of the street, which extends between the intersections of Airport Street and Marib Street and is implemented by the Roads and Bridges Sector under the supervision of the Works Sector.
Officials urged adherence to engineering specifications and speed of completion to ensure improved traffic and citizen service.
In addition, the mayor of the capital and a number of officials inspected the project to establish a surface bridge to the east bank of Al Hashishiya bridge in the Shu'ub district, with local funding of 302 million riyals.
The project includes concrete works, adding a layer, and asphalt restorations to the street extending from the bridge to Marib Street, and the completion rate is about 90%.
Officials stressed adherence to the timetable and engineering specifications to ensure the completion of projects with high quality and achieve the desired benefit for citizens.
