Geneva - Saba:
The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor revealed on Saturday crimes of field executions, starvation and forced displacement carried out by the Zionist enemy army in the northern Gaza Strip.
The Euro-Mediterranean Monitor said "We documented dozens of new premeditated murders and field executions carried out by the occupation forces against a large number of civilians in the northern Gaza Strip as part of its escalating aggression."
It pointed out that the occupation army has continued for 43 days to carry out its third military incursion and attack against the northern Gaza Strip and its residents, committing shameful atrocities that include killing civilians, terrorizing them, forcibly expelling them from their homes and displacing them.
The Euro-Mediterranean added "The Israeli crimes included bombing homes over the heads of their residents, killing them en masse, killing displaced people in shelters, and targeting gatherings and vehicles without any justification."
It continued: "We also documented the killing of the two civilians, Khaled al-Shafei (58 years old) and his eldest son, Ibrahim (21 years old), by the occupation army after shooting at them inside their home in front of their family members in the town of Beit Lahia on Wednesday."
The Euro-Mediterranean stated that the family's testimonies confirmed that Israeli forces shot Al-Shafei and his son as soon as they entered their home while they were standing at the side of the room, which led to their killing without either of them moving a muscle.
It explained that thousands of Palestinians besieged in the northern Gaza Strip are suffering from hunger and fear, and those who are injured often cannot be transferred for treatment, so a large number of them die slowly due to the lack of life-saving medical care.
The Euro-Mediterranean added "We documented the presence of dozens of victims who were martyred under the rubble after their homes were bombed, and there were no medical teams or civil defense to rescue them, in light of the occupation preventing humanitarian teams in northern Gaza from working for 25 days."
It stressed that the international system's reluctance to take decisive decisions regarding "Israel's" massacres in the Gaza Strip, especially in the north, makes it a partner in these crimes and represents a green light for the occupation to proceed with escalating the crime of genocide.
The Euro-Mediterranean called on the United Nations and the international community to intervene immediately to save hundreds of thousands of residents of northern Gaza, stop the crime of genocide, impose a comprehensive arms embargo on "Israel", hold it accountable and punish it for its crimes.
