The Saudi national team suffered its first loss in its history against its Indonesian counterpart, with two goals to none, in the match that took place on Tuesday evening, in the sixth round of Group Three competitions in the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

The two goals for the Indonesian national team were scored by player Marceliano Ferdinand in the 32nd and 57th minutes of the match.
