Amran - Saba:
A free annual medical camp for the families of martyrs in Amran province was officially launched on Wednesday by Amran governor Dr. Faisal Juma'an and Undersecretary of the General Authority for the Care of the Families of Martyrs Sharaf Abu Talib.
The camp, organized by the Health Office and the Martyrs' Families Care Authority at al-Sammad Hospital, offers a wide range of medical services, including diagnostic tests, therapeutic consultations, surgeries, and more.
During the inauguration, governor Juma'an highlighted the significance of the camp, which is part of the efforts to honor the martyrs and their families by providing essential healthcare services.
He praised the medical staff for their dedication and called on pharmaceutical companies and hospitals to contribute to the camp’s needs.
Head of al-Sammad Hospital Dr. Abdulghani Faris and Undersecretary of the Martyrs' Authority Sharaf Abu Talib also emphasized the camp’s role in alleviating the suffering of martyrs' families, acknowledging their sacrifices for the country.
The camp, which coincides with the annual Martyrs' Day, aims to offer free treatment, diagnosis, and surgeries to martyrs’ families, with referrals to Sana’a for cases that cannot be treated locally.
Director of the Health Office Dr. Mohammed al-Houthi reaffirmed the importance of the camp as part of a broader effort to support the families of martyrs and enhance social solidarity in the country.
