Al-Mayadeen: Disputes erupt between Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham, National Army in Aleppo

Damascus - Saba:

Al-Mayadeen TV reported on Tuesday that disputes broke out between the operations room of the "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" and the operations room of the "National Army" over the control sites in Aleppo and its countryside.

The channel said the disputes erupted after Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham demanded that the National Army factions evacuate the positions they had seized north of Aleppo.

In the same context, the so-called "Dawn of Freedom" operation room issued a statement highlighting the explosion of the dispute between the so-called "Syrian National Army" and "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham".

"Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham is carrying out under illusions and pretexts, represented by our minor violations, after which we are accused of obstructing the conduct of the battle," the statement said, adding: "We express our strong condemnation of the aggressive behavior practiced by Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham towards the factions of the Syrian National Army, the latest of which is the capture of several soldiers of the Fajr al-Huriya chamber, and the practice of policies of overcoming and exclusivity."

The statement continued: "We condemn the liberation of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham by the areas liberated by our operations room, in a scene that recalls the unfortunate behavior known as (Tahrir al-Tahrir)."

The statement called on Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham to "immediately stop its aggression against the factions of the National Army and the Freedom Dawn Room" and to "return the areas liberated by our operations room to their previous status."

This comes as the Syrian army continues to confront the attacks of armed groups in the countryside of Hama, Idlib, and Aleppo, where the joint Syrian-Russian air force carried out concentrated strikes targeting the terrorists' sites and axes of movement in the northern countryside of Idlib and Hama, inflicting heavy losses in personnel and equipment.
