Sana'a - Saba:
The fourth training course on the basics of development began on Wednesday in Sana'a, with the participation of 30 trainees from the Ministry of Administration, Local and Rural Development.
At the opening of the course, the Ministry's Director of Human Development, Najeeb Al-Sharjabi, explained that the course comes within the framework of the Ministry's plan to build and enhance the capabilities of its cadres regarding the basics of development and the integrated development work model.
He added that the course aims to provide participants with theoretical and practical concepts, knowledge and expertise related to the basics of development work and sustainable development, its new concepts and national priorities, the role of the local authority in leading the development process, how to activate cooperative societies, in addition to mechanisms to strengthen the relationship between the local authority and cooperative societies, in addition to identifying the concept of value chain and other concepts and knowledge aimed at mobilizing local community capabilities to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development.
