The Administration, Local and Rural Development Ministry mourned the death of Sheikh Hussein Al-Rasas, who passed away at the age of 75, after a life of national giving and community service.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SPA), the ministry praised the deceased's merits, sincerity and dedication in all work and tasks entrusted to him, his leadership roles and his administrative wisdom since he was director of a number of directorates, until he became deputy governor of Al-Bayda province, which was the last position he held.
The statement pointed out that the ministry, local authority bodies and the entire country have lost a loyal leader, noting the deceased's honorable stance in confronting the aggression and its mercenaries, supporting the fronts and mobilizing until the liberation of the province's districts from the takfiri elements.
It praised the active roles of the deceased in developing the work of the local authority system in the administrative, service , developmental fields, and his contributions in supporting community initiatives, resolving disputes and reconciling differences.
"May Allah have mercy , forgiveness , grant his family , relatives patience and solace."
