A central event was held in Sa'ada province on Wednesday on the occasion of the 57th Independence Day on November 30.
During the event, Sa'ada Governor Mohammed Jaber Awad congratulated Revolutionary Leader Sayyid Abdulmalik Badreddin al-Houthi, President of the Supreme Political Council Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, the Government of Change and Construction and the Yemeni people on the occasion of Evacuation Day, the expile of the last British colonial soldier from Yemen.
He pointed out that this occasion comes at a time of great victories after the time of defeats has passed and the time of victories has come, in which the Yemenis have triumphed with their honorable , distinguished stance and their large million-strong turnout in support of the Palestinians and their valiant resistance.
The governor of Sa'ada emphasized that Yemen, thanks to God Almighty, has a strong faith in God, a wise and courageous leader and a great strength in the military , tactical field and has become the owner of hypersonic missiles, drones and strong men.
"We say to today's invaders and occupiers, 'Here is Britain, which was a kingdom where the sun does not set, was defeated and left defeated after a hundred and twenty-nine years of occupation, so what would the invaders represent today, whether the Americans, the British, the Emiratis or the scum of the Arabs and their mercenaries,'" he said, adding that Yemen has been, is and will be a great power in the military and tactical field.
He pointed out that Yemen was, is and will remain the graveyard of invaders throughout history, and the enemy should despair because Yemen cannot accept colonization, as their ancestors failed in the past and you will fail today in modern times to subjugate or enslave Yemen.
