Sana'a-Saba:
CAC Bank came close to qualifying for the second round of the eighth corporate seven-ball championship, after beating TeleYemen 5-2 in the third round of Group B. Ali Al-Matari scored three goals, while Mohammed Al-Haimi added the other two. With this victory, CAC Bank raised its tally to nine points, while TeleYemen bid farewell to the championship with three consecutive defeats.
In another match in the same group, the Palestinian Community drew with Comprehensive Bank of Bahrain 2-2, with the latter retaining second place with four points, while the Palestinian Community team took its first point.
In Group C, the Central Bank of Yemen swept Etisalat 2 with seven clean sheets, boosting their chances of qualifying with six points, while Etisalat 2 became the second depositor after their third loss.
The third round will be completed on Thursday with decisive matches, most notably the confrontation of the "Attorney General's Office" against the "International Bank of Yemen", and two matches in the fourth group, while the round concludes on Friday with decisive confrontations, most notably the summit of the first group between "Bank of Yemen and Kuwait" and the "General Authority for Insurance".
