Sana'a - Saba:
A training course on modern methods and techniques for collecting and developing financial resources, organized by the General Department of Development Research and Training at the Capital Secretariat, concluded on Thursday.
The six-day course aimed at enhancing the skills and professional competencies of 31 participants from the directors of finance offices in the directorates in the areas of collecting and developing financial resources, which will contribute to improving performance and the process of collecting and supplying public revenues.
At the conclusion of the course, Abdullah Al-Koul, Director of the Development Research and Training Department at the Secretariat, explained that the course comes within the framework of addressing the challenges related to poor understanding of the laws and legislations governing the revenue collection process, and developing the capabilities of employees using modern means of electronic payment systems that enhance the efficiency of collection.
In turn, the participants praised the content of the course and its importance in enhancing financial performance. They urged to continue organizing such training programs to improve the management of public resources in order to achieve the efficient use of revenues in the development service.
