The Iraqi Ministry of Defense announced on Friday the arrest of two ISIS remnants in the western province of Anbar.
In a statement, the Iraqi Ministry of Defense said that a force from the 8th Infantry Brigade, accompanied by a force from Anbar Province Counter-Terrorism Department, after receiving accurate intelligence information, arrested two ISIS remnants in Rawa district.
It is noteworthy that Iraqi security forces are still tracking down ISIS remnants across the country, and occasionally carry out attacks on ISIS hideouts, especially in the northern and western provinces.
