The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, said that Gaza's children are freezing to death due to the cold and lack of shelter.
"We need a ceasefire and an immediate flow of essential supplies, including winter supplies," he said in a press statement on Friday.
He noted that winter blankets and supplies have been stuck for months waiting for approval to enter Gaza.
