Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei stressed that Iran and China are determined to expand close consultations to strengthen bilateral relations and the interests of the two countries.
Baghhaei wrote a message in Chinese on the "X" website, saying: "Today, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is visiting Beijing for his first official bilateral meeting outside the region since assuming office."
"Dr. Araghchi had a very useful and comprehensive discussion with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on a wide range of bilateral, regional and international issues," he added.
"As comprehensive strategic partners, Iran and China are determined to expand close consultations to strengthen bilateral relations and the interests of the two countries, as well as contribute to the rule of law, peace and security at the international level," he continued.
