Gaza - Saba:
The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas denied the lies broadcast by the Zionist enemy, regarding the assassination of the head of the movement's political bureau, the martyr Ismail Haniyeh, in which he claimed that the operation was carried out by a bomb planted in his room, in the official Iranian guesthouse, in the capital, Tehran.
Hamas confirmed in a statement on Sunday that "the investigations carried out, through the joint committee between its security services and the Iranian security services, concluded that the assassination was carried out by a guided missile, weighing seven and a half kilos of explosives, directly targeting the mobile phone of the martyr Haniyeh, may God have mercy on him."
The movement considered the claims of the Zionist enemy "just a desperate attempt to divert attention from the complex crime, which was carried out in violation of the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with a missile that targeted one of its official headquarters."
The Zionist media had claimed that the assassination was carried out using a bomb planted in the martyr's room inside the Iranian guesthouse, during Haniyeh's visit to Tehran at the end of last July, to attend the inauguration ceremony of President Massoud Bezeshkian.
