Jenin - Saba:
The Israeli enemy continues its aggression against the city and refugee camp of Jenin for the 93rd consecutive day, amidst bulldozing and burning homes, and converting others into military barracks.
The Palestinian WAFA News Agency reported that Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition and smoke bombs this morning near the Return Roundabout in the vicinity of Jenin refugee camp. An explosion was heard deep inside the camp, which the enemy prevents anyone from approaching or entering. The Israeli enemy also erected an iron gate around the camp.
According to Jenin Mayor Muhammad Jarrar, Israeli bulldozers continue their demolition operations inside the camp, amid a complete blackout. He noted that the enemy has completely destroyed approximately 600 homes, while all the camp's houses and homes have been partially destroyed, rendering them uninhabitable.
He pointed out that work is still underway to provide temporary mobile homes for the 21,000 displaced persons. The government is working to accommodate those most in need during the initial phase of the mobile home provision plan.
Since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the city and camp of Jenin, 39 Palestinian citizens have been killed, dozens have been wounded, and dozens have been arrested.
Last night, Israeli armored vehicles stormed the town of Ya'bad, south of Jenin, destroying a Palestinian citizen's vehicle, vegetable stalls, and electricity poles. No injuries were reported.
Israeli bulldozers also demolished 10 greenhouses belonging to a citizen and his son, built on an area of 10 dunams, in the village of Al-Jalameh, north of Jenin.
