A Palestinian prisoner from the Gaza Strip was martyred in the Zionist enemy prisons on Sunday.
The Prisoners Club and the Palestinian Prisoners and Freed Prisoners Affairs Authority said in a joint statement that they were informed of the martyrdom of prisoner Ashraf Abu Warda, 51 years old, in the Zionist Soroka Hospital after he was transferred there from the Negev Prison last Saturday.
They added that Abu Warda has been detained since November 20, 2023, and that according to his family, he did not suffer from any health problems.
They pointed out that the number of martyrs among the prisoners in the Zionist enemy prisons since the beginning of the aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 50, which is the highest historically, so that this stage is the bloodiest stage in the history of the prisoner movement since 1967.
