The Higher Committee for Integration held a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, to discuss the progress of the merger process in public service units.
The meeting included a review of the documentation mechanism provided by the National Center for Documents and the automated integration system prepared by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to facilitate and automate the integration process.
The committee discussed a report on the progress of the first phase of the merger, which includes financial, administrative, technical, and legal inventories, where more than 50% of this phase has been completed. It commended the efforts of the sectoral and working committees and the level of achievement, which exceeded the schedule.
The meeting stressed the importance of consolidation in rationalizing spending, improving government efficiency, and developing services, and urged speeding up the completion of mergers to achieve institutional stability. The minutes of the previous meeting were also adopted.
