Sana'a - Saba:
A meeting in al-Thawra district of the capital Sana'a, chaired by Sharaf al-Hadi, Chairman of the Planning and Financial Development Committee, focused on the implementation of al-Zuraiqi Street rehabilitation project, part of a community-led initiative.
The meeting, attended by key officials including the Capital Sana'a Undersecretary Ali al-Lahaji and al-Thawra district director Aqil al-Saqqaf, approved the preparation of a feasibility study for the project, which will include cost estimates.
The Public Works Sector was tasked with preparing memoranda and coordinating with service agencies to ensure the completion of essential services in the neighborhood.
Al-Lahaji emphasized that the project aligns with the directives of the Capital Sana'a's leadership, following discussions with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Secretariat.
Al-Saqqaf highlighted previous successful service projects in the district, funded by community contributions, including street restorations, drainage systems, sewage treatment, and the establishment of a charitable bakery, at a total cost of 18 million Y.R.
These efforts reflect the district's ongoing commitment to community-driven development.
