The Minister of Oil and Minerals, Dr. Abdullah Al-Amir, today reviewed the progress of work and the level of performance at the Yemeni Gas Company and its programs and activities related to the supply situation of gas.
During the visit, the Minister of Oil met with the leadership and cadres of the company, and listened to an explanation from them about the operational and administrative processes of the company, the challenges it faces and ways to improve performance to ensure the provision of domestic gas to the local market efficiently and effectively.
He also listened to detailed reports on the company's activity and the supply situation, distribution mechanisms, and the company's future plans to expand its activity and improve its services.
Minister Al-Amir stressed the importance of the vital role played by the Yemeni Gas Company in meeting the needs of citizens for this vital material, stressing the need for cooperation between all relevant parties to ensure the continuity of supplies and overcome any obstacles.
He pointed out the ministry's keenness to support the company and provide the necessary capabilities to develop its infrastructure and enhance its production capabilities, in line with the aspirations of the current stage and enhance the role of the oil and gas sector in supporting the national economy.
Dr. Al-Amir praised the efforts of the company's leadership and employees in continuing to implement tasks and secure gas despite the exceptional circumstances resulting from the continued aggression and siege, urging them to work in a team spirit and sense responsibility to accomplish the tasks assigned to them.
While the acting CEO of the Yemen Gas Company, Yasser Al-Wahidi, appreciated the support of the ministry's leadership for the company and its support in implementing the activities and tasks assigned to it, enabling it to achieve its goals.
He stressed the company's keenness to increase the pace of work and focus on implementing plans and programs and improving performance in a manner that keeps pace with developments and serves citizens.
