Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani arrived in Tehran on Wednesday on an official visit.
The Prime Minister's media office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani arrived in Tehran today at the beginning of an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran."
Al-Sudani will meet with senior Iranian officials in Tehran and hold talks with them on bilateral relations and regional and international issues.
This is the first official visit by Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani to Iran.
