Economic data showed on Thursday, that the purchases of European countries from Russian LNG purchases recorded a record in 2024, reaching 17.8 million tons.

According to (Russia Today) website, according to the "Guardian" report based on the analysis of the "Restad Enbergi" company, gas supplies to Europe in 2024 reached nearly 17.8 million tons, which is higher than the level registered in 2023, where this supplies last year went to the previous year 15.1 million tons.

According to the data, it is higher than the level registered in 2022 of 16.4 million tons.

The newspaper quoted a gas market analyst at Restad Enrghi Yan Eric Vinretch as saying, "LNG flows not only grow, but are at standard levels."

He added that the supply of Russian gas through the pipelines to Europe exceeded two times the supply of gas through ships (LNG) and amounted to 49.5 billion cubic meters.
