The Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Samir Baja'ala, stressed the importance of the youth role in adopting initiatives to help the mentally disabled who are housed by the state in specialized centers.
During his meeting today with a group of youth from the Charity Club at the Lebanese University, he pointed out that the psychological and economic effects of the aggression and blockade on society require everyone to participate in providing assistance to groups in need of rehabilitation and economic empowerment.
Minister Baja'ala pointed out that the youth have energies that enable them to adopt projects for the care and rehabilitation of the disabled.
During the meeting, which was attended by the former head of the Disabled Care Fund, Engineer Mohammed Al-Dailami, the youth thanked the Social Affairs Minister for his efforts to change the reality of people with special needs for the better.
