Sana’a - SABA:

Shaab Hadramout's team moved away at the top of the First Division Basketball League for the 2024-2025 season, after its big win over Al-Tilal Aden with a score of 79-53, in the third stage of the league. With this win, Shaab Hadramout raised its score to 16 points from 8 matches, 4 points ahead of its closest competitor, while Al-Tilal remained in sixth place with 8 points from 6 matches.

In another match, the Al-Mina team regained second place after its big win over Al-Barq Tarim with a score of 99-53, raising its score to 12 points from 6 matches, while Al-Barq Tarim came in fourth place with 9 points from 7 matches.

As for the Shamsan team, it achieved its first win in the league by defeating Sayun with a score of 69-58. Despite Sayun’s superiority in the first period, Shamsan returned strongly in the other three periods. With this win, Shamsan rose to seventh place with 7 points, leaving last place to Sayoun with the same number of points but with a goal difference.

The matches of the third stage will continue tomorrow with three confrontations:
- Al-Mina vs. Sayoun.
- Wahda Sana'a (title holder) vs. Shamsan.
- Al-Tilal vs. Al-Barq Tarim.
