Yiwu – SABA:
The Yemeni community in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province, China, honored the delegation of the General Federation of Wushu Kung Fu.
The federation, led by Mohammed Rawah, member Youssef Al-Khudari, coach Naji Al-Ashwal, and accomplished athlete Tharwat Al-Sindi, was recognized following Al-Sindi's achievement of third place in the 10th edition of the World Cup in the Sanda style, held in Jiangyin, Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, China.
During the ceremony, the head of the Yemeni community, Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Nou’a, and Secretary General Abdul Wali Al-Atwani, praised the achievement made by the Yemeni Kung Fu team in such a major international competition involving numerous countries.
Al-Nou’a and Al-Atwani affirmed that the bronze medal won by Tharwat Al-Sindi reflects the Federation's commitment to preparing and supporting athletes, despite the challenges Yemen is facing.
They also emphasized that with continued support for rising stars in Kung Fu and other sports, Yemeni athletes are poised to achieve significant victories for their homeland.
