Barcelona - Saba:
Barcelona, the third in the Spanish Football League, has extended the contract of its midfielder Pedri for four years.
Pedri (22 years old), who won the European Cup with the Spanish national team last summer, signed an extension of his contract until June 2030 in the presence of Barcelona Chairman Joan Laporta, Vice Chairman Rafa Yuste, and Portuguese sports director Deco.
Pedri joined the Blaugrana in 2019, before being loaned for a year to Las Palmas, with whom he played in his early days as a junior, and succeeded in establishing himself as one of the most promising talents in Spanish and international football since he was 16 years old, but his pace declined due to injuries.
Pedri succeeded in proving his worth this season under the leadership of German coach Hansi Flick, and that he is one of the best midfielders in the world.
