Tehran - Saba:
The "Martyr Baqeri" drone carrier has been created to defend in remote areas, Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps said on Thursday, stressing the need to be able to fight anywhere far away and be present in any point in the world.
Tasnim International News Agency reported that this came during the ceremony of "Martyr Baqeri" joining the naval force of the Revolutionary Guard, which was held this morning in the Gulf, in the presence of Major General Mohammad Baqeri, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
In his speech on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, Major General Hossein Salami added that independence is one of the greatest achievements of the Islamic Revolution, adding that the ability to determine one's political destiny requires having power.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Revolutionary Guards pointed out that in the world's political geography, there is no place for the weak, explaining that the great powers are trying to draw the world's political map according to their interests, and seek to subjugate countries and place them within their sphere of influence, so as to deprive them of will and independence.
He added: Countries that do not have political power are forced to submit and surrender, noting that war is the tool used by colonial powers to control the fate of peoples.
He stated that the Iranian people, thanks to the wise and divine leadership of their leader, have chosen the path of power so that they do not have to surrender or wage wars.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Revolutionary Guards stressed that in order to prevent war, the deterrence capability must be strengthened, stressing that Iran does not seek conflict or war with any country it recognizes, but rather relies on the principle of equal and fair interaction in international relations.
