Manchester United, the defending champion, will face Fulham at Old Trafford in the fifth round of the FA Cup, while runner-up Manchester City will meet Plymouth Argyle, who eliminated league leaders Liverpool from the fourth round.
Media reports today, Tuesday, indicated that Plymouth, who are in last place in the second-tier league (Championship), achieved a major surprise by eliminating Liverpool and defeating them with a clean goal scored by Ryan Hardy from a penalty kick.
Newcastle, who qualified for the League Cup final, will meet Brighton, who eliminated Chelsea, while Bournemouth will host Wolverhampton in another match between Premier League teams.
Aston Villa, who beat Tottenham 2-1, will host Championship side Cardiff. Crystal Palace, who beat Doncaster 2-0, will host Millwall, while the winner of Exeter or Nottingham Forest will play Ipswich.
