The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" described, on Thursday, the operation that took place near the Huwara checkpoint south of the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank, as a "new heroic act", calling on the Palestinian people to rise up against the Zionist enemy.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, the movement said in a statement that the Huwara operation comes in the context of responding to the escalating crimes of the Zionist enemy and its settlers against the Palestinian people in the West Bank, occupied Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip.
Hamas stressed that the enemy's crimes against the Palestinian people, from raids and attacks on holy sites, to annexation and displacement plans, will only reap more heroic operations and a response by all available means.
