The Assistant Undersecretary of Al-Hodeida Province for Northern Directorates Affairs, Ghaleb Hamza, inaugurated on Saturday the construction of the ring road project in Al-Zaidiya district, which connects Al-Munira line to the Thirty Street at the northern entrance of the city.
The road, which is implemented by the Works Sector with local funding, is two kilometers and 40 meters long from the eastern ring of the Al-Muira line, and extends 30 meters next to the northern bridge of Al-Zaidiya city.
At the inauguration, Deputy Hamza stressed that the project comes within the framework of strengthening the infrastructure of the directorate and improving the road network, which contributes to facilitating movement and revitalizing the local service aspect.
The director of the directorate, Hassan Al-Ahdal, considered this road one of the strategic projects that contribute to linking the areas of the directorate with other urban centers and relieving traffic congestion, praising the efforts of the local authority in the province in implementing the project.
For his part, the director of the Works Sector Branch in the directorate, Qadimi Ali Qadimi, explained that the project will contribute to facilitating movement between different areas, which comes within the executive plan for projects for the year 1446H, to improve cities and promote road projects for the directorates.
