An expanded meeting was held on Sunday in al-Duraihimi district of Hodeida province to discuss strategies for activating al-Duraihimi farmers association, a multi-purpose agricultural cooperative.
The meeting addressed mechanisms for promoting the agricultural sector and enhancing local community efforts to activate the association's role in implementing development initiatives, contributing to sustainable development.
District Director Mohammed al-Mousai emphasized the importance of mobilizing community efforts to achieve significant development progress. He highlighted the association's potential as a key partner in supporting local development.
He explained that the meeting is part of a broader effort to strengthen cooperative associations and support agricultural development, empowering farmers to improve production and enhance the sector's sustainability.
Al-Mousai stressed the need to overcome obstacles hindering the association's ability to efficiently implement agricultural, social, and economic activities.
