The media committee in Tulkarm camp announced on Sunday that the Zionist enemy forces arrested 147 citizens, since the beginning of its aggression on the city of Tulkarm and its camp, which has continued for the 28th consecutive day.
The committee explained in a statement that the enemy forces raided and searched 237 homes, and demolished 603 Palestinian homes and facilities.
It added that the ongoing occupation aggression has led to the displacement of nearly 16,000 Palestinians, and about 85% of the residents of Tulkarm camp have become displaced.
The committee pointed out that the crimes of the Zionist enemy have caused the cutting off of all basic services in the camp.
It pointed out that the enemy forces have sent huge military reinforcements to Tulkarm and its camps, amid the spread of military vehicles in the streets and neighborhoods, and raiding Palestinian homes and turning them into military barracks.
The committee explained that the Zionist forces intensified their military deployment on Nablus Street, which connects the Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps, amidst a tight siege. The infantry units of the occupation army were also deployed around Tulkarm camp and its neighborhoods, raiding homes and destroying their contents.
It added that the enemy forces deployed snipers inside the homes they seized, and Tulkarm camp witnessed destruction of the infrastructure.
The enemy bulldozers carried out bulldozing and sabotage operations that affected electricity, water, communications networks, and others.
In Nour Shams camp, the enemy forces were deployed in the camp amid bulldozing, sabotage, and abuse of Palestinians and subjecting them to field investigation, amidst the firing of live bullets and hearing the sound of explosions in the camp.
The forces seized two residential buildings belonging to al-Dado and al-Zaghal families opposite Tulkarm camp, and conducted a wide-ranging search inside them, subjecting the residents to interrogation and abuse, before forcing them to evacuate them, and turning them into military barracks and sniper locations, in addition to a house for the Al-Masry family opposite the Al-Mahjar neighborhood in Nour Shams camp.
The enemy forces continue to close the gate of the Jabara checkpoint at the southern entrance to Tulkarm city for the 16th consecutive day, isolating the city from the villages and towns of Al-Kafriyat, and the rest of the West Bank governorates.
The media committee called for increased focus on supporting and backing the residents of the city and its camps, and shedding light on the war of extermination committed by the enemy army against the Palestinians.
