Sana'a - Saba:
In an atmosphere full of awareness, the Martyr Leader Sayyed Hussein Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi Exhibition in Hodeidah is witnessing a wide turnout, becoming an exceptional event that carries deeper connotations than just an event, taking its visitors on a journey through time to tell the story of a Quranic project, and an intellectual and spiritual revolution that awakens the conscience of the nation.
Its walls are not just paintings, but open windows on historical stages that shaped the consciousness of a nation, and its halls are not just spaces, but stations that take the visitor on a journey inside the thought and project of the Martyr Leader. Here, visitors do not come just to see pictures and models, but to live an experience that moves them between stations of struggle and faith, to learn about the thought of transcending borders, and gathering free people from several places.
As soon as you step foot into the exhibition gate, you feel that you are entering a different world, pulsating with truth. The walls tell stories, and the corridors take you through paths made by will and certainty. Coming from all governorates and from foreign countries, they stand here, before an intellectual and spiritual legacy that connects them to a cause that has transcended the boundaries of geography and politics, to become a comprehensive humanitarian project.
From every corner, visitors line up, reading a history written with blood, patience, faith and certainty. Here are pictures that tell of the beginnings, of the first cry that was not just a chant, but an announcement of the birth of a new awareness. There are also models that simulate the battles of steadfastness, where a small idea faced the hordes of tyranny and turned into an invincible force.
Multiple pavilions reflect the thought of the martyr leader, where thinkers and researchers contemplate the vision that was able to revive a nation. One of them asks: "How can a project that started in a small village turn into a global power?" The answer comes to him in the eyes of the attendees, in the scenes of the exhibition, in the words engraved on the walls: "Because it was the word of truth, in a time when truth was lost."
Visitors wander between the entrances and wings of the exhibition, and stand in front of the military manufacturing wing, where locally made Yemeni weapons and missiles are displayed, those that did not exist when the project began, but today they impose new equations, between the pictures and models, the will is embodied, and ideas are transformed into achievements that changed the course of Yemeni history.
Among the most influential wings and corners, is the one called "the dark tunnel", a passage that reflects the state of the nation and Yemen before the voice of truth resounds, visitors cross it in the midst of pitch darkness, until they reach its end, where the light of the Quranic project draws the compass for the nation, and opens its eyes to its reality.
At the end of the tunnel, everyone passes through illuminated wings, where the models tell the horizons of the stage and the transition to the gate of awareness and the future extension of the project that began to draw a roadmap for Yemen to get out of the quagmire of dependency and domination, and the more visitors delve, the lighting increases and the images appear in clearer colors and models that reflect the birth of a new awareness of an honest project that has successfully paved its way.
Between the corridors of the Martyr of the Qur’an exhibition, paintings, documents and models are lined up, where light mixes with shadow with images and evidence that tell a journey of steadfastness and knowledge, and in front of them the visitors’ eyes stand to contemplate and read what is behind each shot and what each corner hides of meanings, there are scenes from the time of oppression and injustice and pictures of areas destroyed by crime, features pulsating with life and the light of faith, and a reality that began to take shape.
Many describe the Martyr Leader Exhibition as a meeting point for minds and hearts, and a station for those seeking the truth and the free who believe that the honest word, even if fought, will remain stronger than any weapon, considering the exhibition, which is the largest and most comprehensive of the Martyr of the Quran project, the events of Yemen and the reality of the nation and the world, a living witness to the truth and the level reached by this project and the equation that changed the features of Yemen and drew the features of the future.
A magnificent harmony, carrying within its details the story of a project that was not just an idea, but turned into a reality, and into an approach that charts the paths of the future, living evidence that tells of a Quranic, intellectual, spiritual and human journey that drew the features of a time that has not passed, but its impact continues in minds and hearts, the pictures are not silent, but rather speak to those who contemplate them, telling the story that many have missed, and redrawing the scene anew for those who want to see things from a different angle.
The visitors were not only from the place, but they came from different governorates, and activists from Australia, Panama and Chile, faces with different features, but their looks were all searching for an answer, for a deeper understanding of the meanings of the walls of the exhibition, some of them taking notes, and others capturing the scenes with lenses, as if they feared losing a single moment of this visual and mental extension in which they were immersed.
The exhibition simulates the geopolitical situation, the stages of the major confrontation with the forces of arrogance, the details of the economic war, the blatant aggression against Yemen, the unparalleled Yemeni steadfastness, and how this stage constituted a turning point in the battle of awareness and breaking the enemies' bet and conspiracies, maps, documents, texts, drawings and data, carry within them their interpretation of events that are still raging to this day, and put the visitor in front of a clearer vision of the ongoing conflict, far from the falsehood of the directed media narratives.
At the end of the tour, visitors stand in front of interconnected pavilions that embody the status and success achieved by Yemen for the Martyr of the Qur’an project, with scenes of Yemeni popular solidarity in support of Palestine, pictures and models of deterrence against the Zionist enemy, documentation of military operations supporting Gaza, and the transformations that have established Yemen as a force that the enemy must reckon with.
The successive visits to the Martyr Leader Exhibition are not limited to the anniversary of his martyrdom, but throughout the year, which reflects the close connection to his project and adherence to his principles, which were not just a religious discourse, but a deep-rooted vision that has today become a source of inspiration for generations in Yemen and abroad, and part of a growing global trend in the face of the forces of colonialism and arrogance.
Organizing this exhibition in the Martyr Leader Hall in the city of Hodeidah represents a great symbolism for a governorate that has become a symbol of steadfastness and victory, and continues its role in the battle of awareness, and the fields of thought and culture, and today hosts an event that rereads history, and confirms that peoples who preserve their identity remain resistant to attempts at obliteration and distortion.
The momentum witnessed by the exhibition reflects strong messages on several levels, the first of which is that the thought of the martyr leader and his deep Quranic project have become part of the Yemeni religious and national identity, and that attempts to obscure awareness and distort the flags of the nation and symbols of thought and resistance have not succeeded, but rather increased the people's adherence to their principles, and increased the spread of this project locally and abroad.
This turnout also sends a clear message to the enemies of Yemen that the Yemenis, despite all the challenges, are continuing on their path, relying on this project and on a legacy of struggle that cannot be uprooted. As for the third message, it is directed to the world, and confirms that the Yemeni issue is not just a political crisis or a military conflict, but a battle of awareness that is becoming more influential day after day.
The Martyr Leader Exhibition is not only a station to remember a historical figure, but also an embodiment of a renewed state of awareness, and a clear message that the resistance thought based on the methodology of the Qur’an cannot be erased, but rather remains alive in the souls of the free. Amidst the momentum of attendance and the interaction of the masses, it is evident that the peoples who honor their leaders and preserve their history are the peoples who can shape their future with dignity and pride, far from hegemony and tyranny.
