The official of the agriculture sector in Mawiyah District in Taiz Governorate, Ali Mani' Al-Tayri, reviewed today the level of success of the experiment of cultivating wheat and bean crops in the "Akhrak" district in Mawiyah District.
During the visit, Al-Tayri, along with the executive director of the Mawiyah Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Society, Nabil Al-Wajeeh, listened to an explanation from the farmer Sadiq Al-Bahr about the experiment, where he stated that the wheat and bean seeds used in planting the experimental fields are local seeds, in addition to following sound agricultural practices according to the agricultural guidelines that ensure preserving the crop.
The official of the agriculture sector in the district, Al-Tayri, stressed the importance of transferring this successful experiment, generalizing it to the rest of the districts in the district, and exploiting the available agricultural areas to cultivate basic crops of grains and legumes, to achieve self-sufficiency.
The Executive Director of the Mawia Association addressed the importance of cooperation and working as one team to advance the agricultural and development sector and achieve the aspirations of the leadership at the directorate and governorate levels.
