Moscow-Saba:
The Russian Defense Ministry announced today, Wednesday, that its air defense forces had intercepted 128 Ukrainian drones over several regions in the country.
The Russian news agency "Sputnik" quoted the ministry as saying in a statement: "During the past night, the air defense forces on duty intercepted and destroyed 128 Ukrainian drones."
The statement added: "(83) drones were destroyed over the territory of the Krasnodar Territory, 30 more drones over the territory of the Republic of Crimea, eight drones over the Sea of Azov, five more over the Black Sea, and one drone over each of the Bryansk and Kursk regions." The Ukrainian Armed Forces target the Russian border areas in Crimea and the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk and Voronezh regions with drones and missiles on an almost daily basis.
In turn, the Russian forces continue to carry out their special military operation, with the aim of disarming Ukraine, eliminating threats to Russia's security through it, and protecting civilians in the Donbas region.
