Official data showed that the unemployment rate in Germany recorded a slight decline in February.

The Federal Employment Agency announced in data on Friday that the number of unemployed fell by 3,000 people to two million and 989,000 unemployed compared to January.

According to the data, the number of unemployed people increased compared to February 2024 by 175,000 people.

The agency stated that the unemployment rate stabilized at 6.4 percent on a monthly basis.
