Kuwait - Saba: The diplomatic mission of the State of Kuwait in The Hague submitted a written pleading to the International Court of Justice today, Friday, regarding the advisory opinion pursuant to United Nations General Assembly Resolution No. 79/232 adopted in New York on December 19, 2024, which calls on the court to issue an advisory opinion regarding the obligations of the "Israeli" occupation as an occupying power.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, in a statement, that the State of Kuwait's pleading showed the "Israeli" occupation's violation of the United Nations Charter and the Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations to ensure the safety of its employees, protect its institutions, and guarantee the security of its facilities in the occupied Palestinian territories, including East Al-Quds.
