Dublin - Saba:
Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski renewed his country's support for Ukraine despite the tension between US President Donald Trump and Vladimir Zelensky.
The Polish minister wrote on the "X" platform today, Saturday: "Poland will continue to support a free Ukraine until a just peace is achieved."
Sikorski's statements came after Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk had earlier expressed his support for Zelensky.
During the meeting, Trump sharply criticized Zelensky, accusing him of endangering global security by refusing to negotiate with Russia to achieve peace.
Trump warned that this position could lead to the outbreak of World War III, considering that Zelensky is "gambling with the lives of millions."
He added that Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to negotiate and advised Ukraine to sit at the negotiating table with Russia to achieve peace, warning that the United States may withdraw its support and leave Ukraine to face the war alone if it does not take serious steps towards peace.
