Washington - Saba:
A new study published in the Journal of the American Medical Directors Association showed that practicing 35 minutes of moderate to vigorous exercise per week can reduce the risk of dementia by 41%.
A research team from Johns Hopkins University conducted a study on 89,667 adults, where physical activity was linked to a 69% lower risk of dementia for those who practiced 140 minutes or more of exercise per week.
The researchers found that even a few minutes of exercise per week can improve brain health and reduce the risk, even for the elderly.
