The Authority of Prisoners' Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners' Club announced today, Monday, the martyrdom of prisoner Khaled Mahmoud Qassem Abdullah from Jenin camp, ten days ago inside "Megiddo" prison.
The Authority of Prisoners' Affairs and the Prisoners' Club quoted the General Authority for Civil Affairs that the administrative detainee Khaled Mahmoud Qassem Abdullah (40 years old) from Jenin camp, was martyred in (Megiddo) prison, on 2/23/2025, and he has been administratively detained without trial since 11/9/2023.
The Authority and the Club said in a joint statement that the martyr Abdullah is married, the father of four children, and has two brothers who are administratively detained; They are Shadi and Iyad Abdullah, and according to his family, he did not suffer from any health problems before his arrest.
The Authority and the Club pointed out that prisoner Abdullah is the third prisoner whose martyrdom has been announced within a week, bringing the number of martyrs among prisoners and detainees in the occupation prisons since the beginning of the war of extermination to 61 martyrs, and they are the only ones whose identities are known, including at least 40 prisoners from Gaza.
They explained that this number is the highest in history, so that this stage constitutes the bloodiest in the history of the prisoner movement since 1967.
This brings the number of martyrs of the prisoner movement whose identities are known since 1967 to 298, noting that there are dozens of martyrs from Gaza detainees who are subject to enforced disappearance, and the number of martyr prisoners whose bodies are being held has risen to 70, including 59 since the beginning of the war.
