Kuwait Stock Exchange ended trading on Tuesday, with its general index down 8.06 points, or 0.10 percent, to reach 8165.15 points.

500.8 million shares were traded through 18876 cash transactions, worth 158.2 million dinars (about 487.2 million dollars).

The main market index fell 4.99 points, or 0.07 percent, to reach 7408.18 points, through trading 313.8 million shares through 9785 cash transactions, worth 102.18 million dinars (about 314.7 million dollars).

The Premier Market Index also decreased by 9.23 points, or 0.11 percent, to reach 8,757.81 points, through trading of 187 million shares through 9,091 transactions, worth 56 million dinars (about 172.4 million dollars).
