The Russian Ministry of Defense on Wednesday said its forces liberated the town of Privolnoye, affiliated with the Donetsk People's Republic.
"As a result of decisive and decisive operations, units of the Eastern Group of Forces liberated the town of Privolnoye, which belongs to the Donetsk People's Republic, and targeted formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Kamyshevakha, Bogatyr, Fedorovka, Iskra, Dneproenergia, Novopole, and Burlatskoye in the Donetsk People's Republic, Yanvarskoye in the Dnipropetrovsk Region, and Gulyaypole in the Zaporozhye Region," the ministry said in a statement, Sputnik reported.
The statement continued, "The enemy's losses amounted to up to 175 soldiers, a tank, an armored combat vehicle, four vehicles, and four field guns, including the American-made Paladin self-propelled artillery system."
The statement added that units of the Center Group of Forces also continued to penetrate deep into the enemy's defenses, targeting formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Novopavlovka, Krasnoarmesk, Zverevo, and Kotelno Uspinovka, Udachnoye, Elizavetovka, Petrovsky, Dmitrov, Mirolyubovka, Alekseevka, Zeleno and Srepnoye in the Donetsk People's Republic.
The statement concluded, "The enemy lost up to 600 soldiers, five infantry fighting vehicles, including four Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, one M113 armored personnel carrier, three American-made Maxx Pro armored fighting vehicles, as well as two guns."
