Ramallah - Saba:
The President of the Palestinian Prisoners Club, Abdullah Al-Zaghari, said that the pace of "Israeli" crimes against prisoners and detainees has returned to the crimes level that we witnessed at the beginning of the war, which reached its peak at the time.
Al-Zaghari pointed out in a press statement that this conclusion comes based on the visits of legal teams and live testimonies that reflect this on a daily basis, as well as the increase in the number of martyrs whose identities are known, in light of the occupation's continued concealment of the identities of many of them and the continued detention of their bodies, to constitute this issue as one of the most prominent aspects of the war of annihilation.
Al-Zaghari renewed his demand for the human rights system to open an independent and impartial international investigation into the circumstances of the martyrdom of dozens of prisoners, as a result of torture, starvation, medical crimes and sexual assaults.
He also called for effective decisions to hold the occupation leaders accountable for the war crimes they continue to commit against the Palestinians, and to impose sanctions on the occupation that would put it in a state of clear international isolation, and put an end to the ongoing state of helplessness in the crimes' face of the "Israeli" occupation.
