Paris - Saba:
French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu pledged today, Thursday, that his country will continue to support Ukraine with intelligence despite the United States of America stopping providing Kiev with such information.
Lecornu said in statements, "Our intelligence is sovereign and it has taken a long time to strengthen it in recent years," noting that France has intelligence resources that it will transfer continuously to the Ukrainians to benefit from them in their war against Russia.
CIA Director John Ratcliffe announced yesterday, Wednesday, that Washington has stopped exchanging intelligence information with Kiev, as part of the repercussions of the verbal altercation that took place between Presidents Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky in the White House last Friday due to their disagreement over ending the Russian-Ukrainian war.
