The head of the government media office in Gaza, Salama Marouf, welcomed today, Thursday, the efforts seeking to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people, including the formation of the Gaza Strip Administration Committee.
Marouf said in press statements: "We welcome all efforts seeking to alleviate the suffering of our people in light of the ongoing war of extermination waged by the occupation, including arrangements for the administration of the Gaza Strip through a committee formed of independent national competencies and figures."
He stressed the complete openness and readiness to provide the elements for the success of these efforts, and to remove obstacles to any step agreed upon nationally, and that we have not and will not be anything but a support for these efforts as long as their motive is the interest of the people in the Gaza Strip and turning the page on division.
Marouf stressed that the administrative structure and government cadres are ready for the requirements of work according to this vision, and to continue performing their job duties and national obligations, in a way that ensures the continuity of services provided to citizens, and the success of the work of the aforementioned committee.
