Kuwait Stock Exchange closed trading today, Thursday, with its general index down by about 46.87 points, or 0.57 percent, to reach 8119.35 points.

During the session, 344.3 million shares were traded through the execution of 18215 cash transactions worth 96.6 million Kuwaiti dinars (about 297.5 million US dollars).

The main market index decreased by 23.41 points, or 0.31 percent, to reach 7544.88 points, through the trading of 184.4 million shares, through the conclusion of 7568 cash transactions, worth 35.9 million dinars (about 110.5 million dollars).
