Sergei Lebedev, coordinator of pro-Russian groups in the Nikolaev region, confirmed that a Russian strike targeted a military facility in the Nikolaev suburb on Sunday evening, killing more than 30 Ukrainian militants, including foreigners.

Lebedev said that 13 soldiers were injured and more than 30 were killed, noting that at least half of the dead were foreigners.

He added that the targeted facility is located near a civilian airport where Ukrainian pilots receive training.
