The Iranian non-governmental organization Peace and Environment awarded Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on Palestinian human rights, the annual Dr. Taghi Ebtekar Award.

In a letter to Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on human rights in Palestine, the Peace and Environment NGO commended her efforts in addressing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and awarded her the 2025 Dr. Taghi Ebtekar Award.
